Meet the Practitioner: Suzanne Calkins, Licensed Esthetician

Suzanne has traveled a winding road to end up in the Pacific Northwest.  Born in New Jersey, she moved with her family to Raleigh, NC when she was six.  After graduating from North Carolina State University she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a television sit-com writer.  After twelve years of breathing smog, Suzanne decided to give the fresh air of Seattle a try. 

She received her holistic esthetics training from the well-respected Euro Institute of Skin Care in Renton, WA and has been a happy, practicing esthetician for over 7 years.  With an eye for detail, Suzanne takes great pride in providing relaxing, restorative services to her clients.  Her company name, Sûr de Soi, means “sure of oneself” in French.  It is her life’s joy to help people feel good about themselves… one treatment at a time!

Suzanne and her husband Greg live in North Bend with their two border collie mix dogs and their exceedingly adorable son Tristan.  She’s always willing to show pictures if you need proof.
